Vintage Italian Ceramic Jug Vase Attributed to Nuovo Rinascimento | Mid Century Pottery

A richly textured vintage Italian ceramic jug by Nuovo Rinascimento, finished in layered olive green, cream and deep brown glazes. The raised scroll detailing, geometric carved motifs and sculptural handle give it that distinctive rustic Italian pottery feel associated with the maker’s 1960s–70s pieces.

The heavier form and glossy reactive glaze give it real presence - equally striking styled with branches or displayed as a standalone decorative object. Beautiful tonal variation and texture throughout, with darker relief details framing the softer speckled glaze.

As always, signs of age are part of its story - small dinks as common in this type of pottery.
